Gaming rig for 4k $

Hello there guys!I really need some help on this one!!!
Heres the problem: Ill be doing a new rig in a couple of weeks, but Im not sure yet what parts Ill be putting together.

Heres what Ive come up with for now
Case: LittleDevil-V8(Absolutely adore the looks and its capable of fitting 3 quad rads in there with ease) - 640$
MB: Asus Maximus V Formula(Or Extreme) - 450$ / 400$
CPU: Ivy 3770k - 340$
GPU:Asus GTX680 DCII SLI with EK waterblocks - 1340$
PSU:Seasonic 860 Platinum - 300$

Now,its already 3k+$,and now I need your assistance on RAM,Rads( I would need 3 guads I guess, its a bit of an overkill, but I want everything to be as cool as possible, and quiet as well),fittings, fans, pump etc(Im new to it tbh)

Any help is appreciated! Thanks in advance!

Ru5ty_t00l,yeah,I agree on this one! Then maybe Id need another case?Suggestions?Maybe Cosmos II with 360 in the roof and 2x240 in the bottom?Would that be enough?

seumasbeathan, mostly games, but also programms like Archi and AutoCAD.
Maybe you guys could suggest a different setup?Ill be utilizing only one monitor at 1080p,so I guess I wont be needing SLI just yet

My budget stays where it is right now at 4k$,and I want performance and quietness from my rig.Again guys,I know I sound silly, but its really hard for me to make a reasonable purchase)Any help Is appreciated!

seumasbeathan, Oh,alright then! What about MB?Do I really need Maximus,or Id be better off with asus p8z77v-pro?Im not going to OC cpu to its limits, maybe just a baby 4,2 - 4,4 ghz oc

I wish I could be reasonable,I really do.I just thought that I would buy two of them, and then forget about upgrading for a couple of years!

I want to make a best purchase, thats why Im here on OC3D forum, you guys are great

Well if you really want to be safe for a long time I guess you could get sli 670's, they offer the same performance as sli 680's but are cheaper

Nah you were fine mate :) It can be a little confusing that a 670 is just as good as the more expensive 680 :L

So cpu and graphics card and mobo sorted, what else do you need help with?

Ram is always an issue, there are so many sorts of them! -_-
Plus WCooling, which brand would you reccommend?
As far as I know XSPC is always a great choice, isnt it?

I have never done a custom loop before so I can't really be much of a help there, as for the ram, you can never go wrong with some Corsair Vengeance, as you are going to be using stuff like autocad you may want to go with 16gb of 1600mhz vengeance.

As for the psu - I would suggest the Corsair AX750 or AX850

Im sure the seasonic unit is a fantastic unit but for the extra cash it is now worth it, Corsair is a fantastic brand with fantastic customer service and warranty and also fantastic psu's

I bit off topic,is that true that Corsair units are made by Seasonic?

I guess Id go with all-Corsair with this one)Watching Tom's reviews I know you can never go wrong with Corsair

Nonetheless Corsair is indeed a great company to go with,to my mind
Alright then mate,I guess we're done here, for now at least!

Thanks a lot for your assistance and time!
