Gaming PC for friend

Hey pepz!

My friend has asked me to help him build a gaming pc and I´ve put together a list which is just around his max budget - take a look;

PSU: Corsair CX 600M
Mobo: MSI Z87-G43
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO
Ram: Kingston hyperX 1600Mhz 8GB
CPU: i5-4670K
GPU: Gigabyte 2GB GTX 770
Cooler: CM Hyper 212 Evo
Case: Fractal Design, Define R4
+ ASUS DVD Writer

I wanted to go with a quiet case that he can reuse in some years when he needs to upgrade (I bought a CM 690 II when I build my own a few years ago, bad case imo.)

We might throw a HDD in there aswell, but that´s always optional!

What do you think? :)

looks good, nothing i would change really.

Could you post your friends budget here, it would be helpful for those who would help us see if we could do any better for the price.

The size of the ssd will also help.

The SSD is 120gb, primarily for OS + a few games
Steam + download + media folder is gonna be placed on a second HDD.

I live in Denmark, and this build round up to around 7700 DKK, which is around 1000 euro.

We are also gonna buy a screen, which is prop. gonna be the BenQ xl2411T - so that is an addition 250 euro.

I have picked all parts from the same site, so I might shave a few (magnitude around 50 euro) off the price by comparing prices with all the sites :)

Ahhh a fellow danish :)

Anyway it's hard to find more performance at that price unless you want to go with a lower tier cpu for more graphics power.
I generally use www.edbpriser.dk to compare prices on parts between different vendors, idk what you used but this might squeeze some extra cash out of the build that could be used om something extra (more RAM, the HDD or some bling like lights or something ;) )

Very well and nice balanced build though.
