Not sure which mouse to get i used to have a razor copperhead but it recently packed in after 3 years. Looking to spend no more than £45.

3yrs for a copperhead is good going, especially if you have used it for what it was meant to be, a gamer!

i lurve razer - my deathadder is ~2yrs old and still going strong, and it is bang on your money

other mice to consider would be microsoft's sidewinder and logitech's G500

I have a Steelseries XAI, it's the best mouse I have ever used but i think they are about £55.

I have a Razer Deathadder 1800dpi and have had it for years

best mouse I've had so far.

I was looking at the new mice and the steelseries xai looks really nice altho it seems pretty expensive atm.

I think mice are really down to personal preference tho.

Is it a double clicking issue?... if so, Razer has firmware patches that revived my Copperhead.

If it is dead-dead, SnW mentioned Logitech's MX518, which is my desktop mouse are a bargain now. For GBP45, I'm eyeing (sp?) their G500 for the dual mode scrolling wheel, better button placement and onboard memory. Even if Logitech still lack the ultra convenient, dedicated profile switching button.

haha, there is far too much choice. I feel inclined to stick with razer, But the G500 is such a good price!

Maybe you can try to give us a feel of the mouse we can guide you to beyond meeting the price point.

For example:

  • Shape
  • (A)symmetry
  • Size
  • Texture
  • Sensor sensitivity
  • Corded/wireless
  • Button count
  • Button placement
  • Onboard memory
  • Unique features

Can't complain with my Razor Deathadder 1800DPi. Any more and I think it would be overkill (personally). It's also the most comfortable I've used.

I have the Razer Nags, great mouse but bit expensive, have had it since it came out and still going strong........
