Games look stretched on a 34" wide screen monitor help

hi everyone, i have just purchased a 34" iilyama widescreen monitor and my games seem to be stretched. can anyone help to sort this out i am using a res of 3440x1440, thankyou

Make sure your games are adjusted to match

hi, i have adjusted my res in the game options but it does not go to 3440x1440 the highest it goes is 2560x1440. the game is diablo 3. it just looks a little stretched, thankyou for the reply

Have a look in /Users/My Documents/Diablo III for a config file. There might be a resolution specified which you could try manually set to 3440x1440.

hi, there is no config file just a d3prefs which i have checked an the highest size is 2560x1440 in the prefs file, thankyou for the reply

use windowed full screen mode and it should work at 3440x1440

With hearthstone having such "hand drawn" graphics, I'd very much doubt they have done one for that aspect ratio.
