Games from Nvidia promotions/bundles will now be linked to bundled GPUs

Games that are provided as part of future Nvidia GPU bundles and promotions will be restricted to specific GPUs and regions, preventing buyers from reselling their game codes.

I think its another move by nvidia, if I buy a gpu and it comes with a game then its MINE and if I want to sell it, its my right.

Not your right at all, If they state it comes bundled with the GPU then that is what you have to stick by, Remember you are buying the hardware, The bundled software is just an added bonus and you have zero rights if Nvidia beforehand say "must be used with this GPU".

Yes would suck if you already have the game but the last two I bought that had games gave you a selection from three or four games so it wasn't that bad.

I trust this only checks at the time of activation? I imagine through steam or the like to check your configuration. Does Steam or Origin know the serial number of your GPU or just the type?

How does it work if you then sell the GPU? Does the game still work on your new and improved model?

There will still be work arounds but yes it will limit sales of unwanted keys. More geo blocking. More ripping off the end user.

If NVidia and games developers don't want games sold for 'sub optimal' prices then don't bundle them? I'm sure NV don't pay the games company anywhere near an appropriate value.

For those who might not be interested in either game, forces them to not cover some costs and deal with an unwanted expense. Typical Nvidia raising the costs of GPUs anyway they can. This is why we need Vega...
