Gamerbase LAN gaming centre launched!

Looks like we could be seeing a few of these popping up. Deffo a good idea, good to get gaming a more mainstream name (hopefully)

Yeah, just as long as they can keep the finances above board... its very expensive to invest in this type of centre, I just hope they get the cash back.

Then again, its sponsored, so a lot of the stuff was probably free, or at least heavily discounted, so they wont have too much trouble.

Furthermore, I hope this gives HMV a better and more competetive range of games, last time I was in my local store they had a bunch of 6 months old games still selling for £40?!

Ye it's weird, some HMV's are packed full of games (Oxford St a very good example), but some are pretty poor

mate oxford street HMV was like my mecca

Looks like a neat idea :)

Looks like a leet place, digging the widescreen monitors. There is a place called Netfrags very close to us that is similar but their computers are becoming badly out dated. The hardest part for them I think will be keeping the systems up to date.

This is pretty hxc man. We have LAN centers here but they arent as good. Its a really exspensive thing to do.

yea doubt it wouldve been done without some serious backing

I hope all that stuff is secured to the desks lol, mice will be going missing left right and center if not

Looks like an awesome place! Expensive Razer peripherals as well :)

As long as it all keeps up to date, which it sounds like they will with all the backing, then it should be a success!
