Game booster

Was at my brother place today and noticed that on his laptop(Technically it's mine!) he's using software called ''Game booster'' to increase it's gaming performance.

However I really do not like what I saw and got worried. Program disables whole a lot of windows services and made me worrying is there any danger to hardware(Because he uses my laptop!)?

Well ofc I wouldn't worry too much about it because if you fuck up your windows just reinstall em but I did googling on few services that are being disabled by game booster and it seems one of those services is responsible for making sure HDD has enough space. This got me worried if and what other services responsible for how windows handles hardware being disabled.

So basically is there any danger for hardware with this program because than I'd like to slap him.

Well from reading the description there doesn't seem to be anything dangerous about it.

Although I'm not too sure what it means by "intensifying processor performance".

All game booster really does is close random background apps to free up RAM, so for a laptop where RAM and the ability to upgrade it can be limited it's an alright app, it can also save battery life I guess.

I doubt there is any real danger to hardware, but this is an excuse as good as any to slap him for the sake of it
