I'm disappointed in the 550. I expected it to be between a 460 and 560 in terms of performance yet it's slightly better than a 450. The price for what it is, is overpriced and you can get a 6850 for £10 more which is much better. The card has no direct competition with other cards and the price makes it pointless considering you can get a much better card for a few pennies more. What is the point Nvidia?

You can get a 460 or a 6850 for a little bit more LINK. I doubt you would notice much difference between a 490 and a 550 performance wise. The 490 outperforms a 5770 and the 550 is not much better than a 5770 the only things you would benefit from is less noise, less heat, lower power consumption and DX11 and the DX11 performance from the 550 isn't good.
