Gainward 1080 GS fan problem

So i bought a Gainward 1080 GS, installed it and started up my pc to test it out. fans didnt start and i know they dont since it was under 60C.
Started up heaven to benchmark it, the card got to 70C and still no fans started spinning, same at 90C and at that point i was to scared to let it go higher.

I have tried EVGA precision, MSI afterburner and even Gainward's own program and none of them started the fans even on manual at 100% speed...
Even did a clean sweep of the drivers, checked the card for damage and nothing was out of the ordinary.

Anyone here ever had/heard of that problem before or have any ideas?

Since you just bought it, just send it back or something. Dont bother doing anything that would give the place of purchase an excuse to refuse return.

I havent got any Gainward 1080s so I am not sure, but can you see the fan connector under the cooler?

Yeah, i can see it and everything looks fine, no damage on the card at all either. And I'm going to return it no doubt about that. Its just so weird, every program records fan speed goes up in % but no rpm.
My 3rd 1080 im going to return, 2 EVGA's and now a Gainward.

I think im just going to stay away from this generation...
