G1 Assassin mic socket.

I must be missing something here, but I can't use the mic socket on the rear of the board as it only recognises it as a line-in socket, even though it is labelled as line-in/mic. I'm using a set of Rokkat Kave headphones and I need to keep all the cable connections at the rear, but how do I switch the mode of the rear socket from line-in to mic?

Running Win7 x64 btw.

Never mind, I got annoyed at the board so I just re-installed my X-Fi XtremeGamer instead. Actually, the sound quality is better now if anything, I found the onboard audio had a slight hiss which thankfully is now gone, and the mic works
