G.Skill releases Ryzen Optimised Trident-Z RGB DDR4 memory

G.SKill already had some of the best performing RAM for Ryzen, but it's nice to see them still trying to improve stability. I hope they have orange/black 3200Mhz dims in more plentiful supply. They've been very hard to source.

So what's the difference with these kits versus the high end stuff available right now? Are they tweaking the values in the SPD tables for better stability?

I'm guessing so. I've got a set of G.Skill Ripjaws that was on the QVL for my Crosshair 6 Hero, and the settings are all over the place. It runs at the 3200MHz that it's quoted for, but not anywhere near as well as it could. Fingers crossed they've ironed out all the bugs, and that the RGB software won't brick the bloody RAM any more.

I heard they did fix the RGB speed corruption on newer versions of the Aura software. Asus also provided some command-line software that could re-write corrupted SPD tables. Sucks for people that had to go through that though.

There are tons of profile settings in subtimings that users don't see. I guess that these ones should offer more stability, and slight performance gains.

Trident Z RGB compatibility Issues with Ryzen!

good "Late" attempt! already struggling to get my TridentZ FR-3000C16D-16GTZR run even at 2800 mhz on my prime B350 Plus mobo with a Ryzen 5 1600. but was able to run it stable 2800Mhz few days back on the same system but couldnt get any higher than this! donno whats happening. trying to run at 2800Mhz gives me 3 times boot loop. Now stuck at 2666 Mhz. BIOS version 0902, CPU overclocked to 3.825 Ghz.
