VR is overrated junk anyway, just like 3D

Probably a 390x as a minimum for VR. It's the closest thing to the 980 and has more vram

What are you talking about, VR is bound to be great. You know with the brain probing and all (just watched SAO) :lol:

But seriously, when we get to that stage, I'd definitely want one.

I think it will definitely be a 'try before you buy' thing. I can understand the specs being quite high as essentially you're driving dual 90hz 1080 monitors.
I had a quick go on the Oculus and it was great but hard to tell if it will make you feel sick or disorientated after an hour or two.
One thing for certain. It will look amazing.
