Ive spoken to Kup about front page articles and guides and would openly like to invite any of the experienced team members to write something. Front end of the site will bring a much larger audience and if written right could bring in many new members.

We need to get something sorted while the iron is still hot, any one out there a budding writer?

Utilitarian bumping. My prose is shocking to I don't think I could be considered for this, although maybe members should be allowed to write the little news articles that we see so often? But it would be submitted through an admin. Just a suggestion, good luck with finding someone to fill the position!

Asked Kup originally he doesnt seem keen, thats why Ive chucked it out to you guys.

Ive got the platform to promote the team as I promised but me and the boys just dont have the time to write it.

I could throw my hand in, but I'd need direction from the rest of the team. I keep folding along, but I don't keep up on everything like steve does. This could be more of a collaborative effort with members putting in their 2 cents along with someone to put it all together into an article. We are a team after all

I'm not sure what kinds of articles you're looking for (aside from guides) but I've always liked what the overclockers.com team does with their folding Spotlight: See nomination page and an example of a Spotlight interview. They are interviews of team members that they run once a month or so...This would help to promote the team while also allowing the team to get to know each other better. I think making it more personal like this could help with peaking non-folders' interests so that they see what it's all about.

This is just a suggestion of course

It doesn't have to be exactly like this but doing something similar once a month helps promote the team on a regular basis and gives the potential for lots of different content to read without it getting too redundant (like a "Join our Team!" article might get after the 10th time).
