oh oh oh... i was like wtf eh? hehe

That's cool dude! They underclock the cards in the 15" MBP's though :( Kinda saddening.

:O how?!

is there a way to get em back up? i tried a copy of homeworld 2 and it did seem pretty sluggish but i wasn't sure if that was because it was out before the intel stuff?

So far there is no way to get around it... People are working for a hack that will get it up to speed. As of now, nothing. If you try and OC it using a tweak program it will just lock up and have to be restarted.

oh right, ah well. it does what i want it to do anyway :)

it came with so much software lol.. am i right in saying you uninstall by dragging to the trash can? ie from applications instead of just the shortcut on the dock?

EDIT: i ask becuase finalcut studio is about 42GB :O

i may call upon u in need as i'm new to em :) well.. at an unrestricted level

Yeah I have Final Cut Studio 5.1 installed, it takes up quite a bit of space :)

And yes, just drag the icon from the Apps folder to the trash can and it's gone for good!

oh excellent i'll be uninstalling that later and popping it on with some kinda of minimum install without all the compressor stuff, motion looks like fun but it hasn't got it's libraries so that's gonna be going back on :D can't wait to properly play hehe

The Powermac G3 is the best of the pack :D

And evga was a good choice, they've got great support, plus you can step them up, up to 90 days after purchase.

You are so lucky Frag. That's some very nice cable management. :)

Thx Ty. It was quite difficult to get it managed half way decently considering the ridiculous placement of the IDE and floppy connectors on the AB9. I think when my AW9D-Max comes in I'll route all of the cables behind the mobo tray if there's enough room between the mobo tray and case panel.

Very nice mate, I love the Sceptre monitor too :yumyum: :worship:

The monitor has been surprisingly awesome for me! I bought it hoping it would be good considering Sceptre's excellent reputation in the CRT market and it definately lived up to all of my expectations. I would recommend it to just about anyone looking for a super budget widescreen TFT.

I love the G3, it's a great little computer for surfing the internet and punching up Word docs, etc. TBH, I'm not a huge fan of eVGA. I just seem to get stuck with their cards a lot because they're the cheapest of the bunch. I've had a lot of eVGA cards fail on me, they took care of me, but not very happy with some of their products.
