Fractal Entering the AIO Water Cooling Market - Is that a 360mm Rad?

Today alongside their Node 804 case, Fractal design have shown off their prototypes for their upcoming AIO water coolers.

I will start by saying that these are prototypes and not representative of the final release, but with that out of the way here are what we know.

The radiators here are shown in 120mm, 240mm and 360mm varieties, with the radiators and pump/waterblock with fractal branding. The units will be pre-filled, like most other All in one water coolers out there and should be just as easy to install.

At present it is unknown whether these units will be expandable like other AIO units from swiftech or Cooler Master but do show a unit expanded to cool 2 GPUs as-well as a CPU by adding two additional radiators.

At present all is known is that Fractal are coming to Computex in July armed with the finalised version of these units, so expect a few changes before then. Please Fractal change that tubing, I don't like that anti-kink coil at all.

What do you guys think of Fractal's move into the AIO business? Are you excited about the possibility of a 360mm AIO? Please comment below.

Ooohh quite like that :)

Hope they don't stick with that tubing wrap thing though. About time that a manufacturer made a 360mm AIO (even though I'd never use one, personally but the community demands it) :p

360mm AIOs are the only aios I'd really use for AMDs 9xxx cpus because the rad space really helps with it.
Nice to see another quality company making aios :D.

Looking at the last picture it looks like they are using it to coll the GPU's so they must be expandable. I wonder just how much those pumps can take though?

They look like standard compression fittings to me, would be awesome if they were expandable, but I still think 'same old same old' every time a company comes out with a 'new' AIO cooler - they are never anything other than repackaged versions of the same thing. Somebody come up with something really innovative for once!

It's happening more these days I think, the H105, H110/X60 both innovated on radiator space from the usual 30mm thick 240mm radiator, and now a 360mm radiator. They aren't massive innovations but they make sense and there's a market for them. At least it's not Antec level "innovation" with "lets make non replaceable fans with two pumps on them with a mess of cables!".

It is not something new, the swiftech h320 with 3600mm for almoust one year on the market

I didn't say it was new ;)

Just hoping that the Fractal units will be more widely available considering Fractal Design is a more mainstream brand than Swiftech (mainly cause there aren't that many watercooler while everyone needs a case and a PSU).

The Swiftech was immediately taken off the shelves after they were being sued right after the release iirc. It hasn't been for sale in most countries ever since, which is quite a shame.
