Today at CeBIT 2014, Fractal Design has shown of their upcoming Node 804 Chassis, a Cube shaped case offering great watercooling and storage options for a case of this size.
The Node 804 brings to the table many new ideas for Fractal, first there is the dual chambered design, similar to Corsair's Air 540 case, the lack of any 5.25 inch drive bays and native support for up to two 240mm and a single 120mm radiator.
However even without an 5.25 inch drive bay, this case seems to support the mounting of a single slim slot loaded optical drive in the front of the case, as seen in the picture below.
As said before this case offers a wide range of options for a Matx case, supporting CPU coolers up to 160mm high, GPU's up to 320mm long and up to 12 hard drives (from what I've counted).
Watercooling is also a dream in this case with fractal showcasing the Node 804 cooling a CPU and dual GPU system using an water cooling loop powered by Fractal's own closed loop water cooling units.
According to Fractal, the Node 804 will be made available in July 2014 and will cost around 99 euros.
What do you guys think of the 804? Will it convince any of you to go Matx for your next build?
