Following the great success of the original Bloodrage motherboard, Foxconn is now said to be working on the Bloodrage GTI board. The boards share most of their features, except for one: the GTI version will feature a combination of 14 phase digital and analog CPU power circuitry.

There is no known release date or retail price.

Foxconn do excite me at times.

Nice to see there doesn't appear to be too much build-up around the cpu area.

Pic looks a bit flakey mind u.

Yeah I know. I couldn't get any better ones, taking a look at the foxconn site itself now.

EDIT: which is too slow to even get on -.-

Hmm, to me that smells like "We're having problems with digital pwm so we're releasing a new board".

Yeah that's quite low for a board that markets itself as an overclocker. I have heard of people reaching 2200MHz on the original BloodRage though, so I think foxconn just wants to cover its back end.

yeah 1800mhz will only be an officially supported memory divider. There's nothing to stop you taking it much higher than that. Newegg even lists the original bloodrage as being able to hit 2500mhz.

Still only three DIMM slots :(

Present moment in time, I'd see 3 as good if it means u can stick with a standard ATX size.

I don't see much benefit in 6 tbh. 1g a slot ?

Nah, affordable 12GB for the home server junkies probably. And just people who want to be absolutely future proof.

Yeah filling a motherboard with 6 slots of ram would just put strain on the power delivery reducing the potential of the ram imo. 3 slots still lets you have 6GB which is more than enough for almost everything, and if you really want to go over the top there are some 4GB modules that will give you 12GB at a price.

It's a nice color scheme, but there are better boards out there. What was wrong with the normal Blood Rage? I think they are trying too hard, too soon.

To me 3 DDR3 slots is too little, that X-Fi must be one of those Realtek 88x crappy chips with software from Creative (this is one thing that bugs me), if the Gb lan is also from Realtek then how does some red paint make it more high end? I just hope there's no JMicron controllers in there. This would really round up most cheap and badly performing components into one board.

X58 + 1366 i7 supposed to be high end, then use high end components. This is not a good board. But not the worst either.

hmm we have some divided opinions here, i dont like the 3 rams only slots, but like the guys said the ram can get more power and i didnt even knew about that, living and learning i think :D.

I saw some reviews at neweeg (alot of them cant be take seriously) but still im uneasy. it some people said the rampage can do better OC's than it (maybe its just the user that cant get some juice of the blood); but anyways it got me unsure :o. also i liked its style, pretty "slim" (i couldn't get a better word for it lol :p) unlike my msi that has rollercoaster heatsinks that makes the Termalright ultra 120 almost not fit....

I remember a guy, retired now, who once said that 640kB should be enough for anything...

Chinese proverb: You can NEVER have TOO MUCH RAM.

Apart from that, it doesn't bother me so much that it only has 3 dimms and that it uses cheap components all around. What bothers me is the their asking price for the combination. It's way up there with the rest of them, which are usually a better package.
