Well have a mix then... All I know is that for a tidy build, the edge ones are much better. I was stuck with the upright ones and it couldn't hide them very well. I do agree that the side ones can be a pain though as the area around them on my Maximus is full of psu cables and watercooling is in the way. Bit of an effort to get to.
