Nvidia may have two RTX 5060 models in the works, and one of them is horrendous.

Yeah, they can keep both to themselves. Neither sounds very enticing, unless the 12gb version will be like a $250 GPU. And we all know that won't happen in this timeline.

Instead of calling it a 5050ti like normal, they call it a 5060 for two reasons: first to confuse people and hopefully slip it past them and get a sale, second to charge more than the 5050ti nomenclature would normally be priced at due to perceived value.

Shady practice whether I'm right or not.

If 3GB modules are available come Q3 of this year, why would Nvidia even bother with an 8GB variant? The only reason for an 8GB one is to release it now and then a 12GB refresh later this year when the 3GB DDR7 modules become available. If the 5060 doesn't come out until August or September, having an 8GB version come out then would be laughable.
