Forza Horizon 3's recommended PC system requirements have been announced

So do we read this as minimum specs? Let the benchmarking commence.

......Wow I just got 30fps on ultra settings........

Definitely some serious hardware needed if you want 1440p+ then?
CPU: i7 3820 @ 3.6GHz
GPU: NVIDIA GTX 970 or NVIDIA GTX 1060/AMD R9 290X or AMD RX 480
VRAM: 4GB
RAM: 12GB
Available Space: 55 GB
OS: Windows 10 Anniversary Edition 64-bit 14393.101

And I had people telling me I was wasting money going for 16GB when I built my PC...

Four months ago.

Ditto. Another excuse to upgrade (as if I needed one:D)

Windows Anni required? whats in windows Anni that would make it required?

Probably just a Microsoft requirement to release on the latest version. I don't there's anything special, unless it contains some DX12 patches, doubt it though.

Wow memory lane. First mainstream bought pc was a HP pentium mmx, I forget the chip size, may of been a 233. I do remember it having a whopping 32gb ram tho. Ah Windows 95, so full of promise. I remember Sage accounting ran well:)

I might just get this for the warthog...

I really hope these requirements means they are pushing PC hardware and it's optimization is good

:o:lol: P2 333 (OC'd to 400Mhz) with 256MB RAM was what I started with for my first gaming rig.

My first pc wasnt even Intel or AMD. Its was a Cyrix 166mhz with MMX and at the time a MASSIVE 4.3gb hard drive and 512mb ram.

To think it set me back £1300 at the time, is just crazy.

that was not in windows 10 home as far as I can tell. I did this:

Get-AppxPackage -allusers | Remove-AppxPackage

and the reinstalled windows app store and downloaded the xbox app before and after installing windows anniversary update. On home edition it installed and logged in fine no issue but after upgrading to anniversary edition I got a xbox app error 0x406 when trying to log in the xbox app after signing in. After going through Get-AppxPackage –AllUsers I found this new adition and when I reinstalled it xbox app was able to sign in.

I went through this for Forza Motorsport 6: APX which also said it required anniversary edition.

I've had the game since it was released on friday (for idiots like me who preordered the overly expensive edition) and its pretty good. A few bad bugs but apart from that its a lot more solid then I was expecting. So far I'd say its been one of the more stable AAA games I've played of late. If they fix the bugs for release I'd say its worth the money so far :)
