Yep, that's why i reinstalled it last week. G27 is definitely supported.

I normally play Assetto Corsa with a wheel but this game works just as well with a controller IMO.

The game has a few big bugs, namely it occasionally freezes if you're driving the same car and livery in a race as a drivatar and it doesn't load nearly fast enough for my PC. Apart from those bugs its pretty decent. The DLC magically fixed itself over the last few days so it appears they are really working on it. For the first 'proper' Forza to release on PC in ages, its a good start.

There's already a fair bit of content (cars) in the base game.
They've already announced 35$ worth of DLC not included in the ultimate edition. They do go a bit overboard with the DLC.
Anyways, predictably i couldn't resist the urge and bought it, g27 does work, they must have fixed it already. Runs alright, had a crash on the first event though.

It keeps crashing at the first corner of the first event, great. I also figured out why the guy complained about not being able to choose the drive the game was installed to, when you buy it off the store it will just immediately start the download without asking.

Weird I got it just now and it went in to my library and didn't even start the download until I had picked where to go.

Who knows what's supposed to happen with this mess of a store.
I shouldn't have spoken so soon, after installing the game ready driver the issue is gone. ~90 fps maxed out in 1080p.

would you think because I have never driven a car in my life, would have something to do with me keep crashing with my nice new wheel.

I'm tempted but at $130 AUD for the ultimate edition I think i'll give it a couple of weeks to get any issues sorted.

What wheel did you get? I had issues with my G29 in Project Cars and Dirt until I dialed down the force feedback to something more realistic. Any kind of drift or fishtail would just get exponentially worse until I was in a wall or a tree.

If it had been forza motorsports with just track racing I wouldn't of bothered, Horizons I like the open driving you can do
I have the 1 for the other console the G920, it doesn't help that because of my eye-sight I have never driven so have no idea what I'm doing or how it should feel, also push on the break and my chair rolls back, going to have to remove the rubber bit logitech put into the break

I have mine on carpet so I haven't had any issues with the chair moving. I've seen some hacks where you can immobilize the castors or build a little wooden frame to hold the chair in place relative to the pedals.
I had to turn my force feedback down a lot. You should feel bumps and impacts but you don't want it making your car impossible to control. Depending on the game settings just play around with the feedback levels until it's driveable. Mine is under 50% for one of the lateral forces if I remember correctly.

Try lowering the wheel rotation to 540 degrees, 900 degrees isn't manageable in FH3, definitely not with a logitech steering wheel.
So are we making an OC3D club or what?
