Okay, here's something a bit different. Now, some of you may know what books are, and some may actually use them for their assigned function, and not just to prop up table legs. Well, there's an author by the name of Patrick Rothfuss; he wrote what IMHO is the best novel in the fantasy genre, ever..."Name of the Wind".
Anyway, the sequel is about to be released ( "The Wise Man's Fear" ) to the world. So, how does this tie in to Firefly?!! Simple.
He heard that Nathan Fillion said “If I got $300 million from the California Lottery, the first thing I would do is buy the rights to Firefly, make it on my own, and distribute it on the Internet.”
Here's Rothfuss' answer: http://blog.patrickrothfuss.com/2011/02/an-open-letter-to-nathan-fillion/
Just warms the cockles o' da heart.
