Folding @ Home Power Draw

Just wanted to see what kind of wattage was coming from the wall during my folding @ home adventures. Less then gaming at least but still quite high.

Mine is quite low but this is for the whole house

Although I shall have to stop folding for a while now as I keep getting BSODs so until it's sorted I'm out :( I know it's AMD Driver related and goes some way to explaining why I can't fold with my GPU.

At stock settings my rig draws about 500~520 W from the socket (dual X5680's and
one Titan folding).

Interestingly, BOINC (which I'll be running, F@H was just a test run for the time
being) only draws between 390 and 480 W. From what I can tell, BOINC's CUDA
projects (at least the ones I'm running, which are GPUGrid and Milkyway@Home)
do not push the Titan as hard as F@H's OpenCL code.

Its all about PPD/W. Once your numbers hve settled down a bit, you can work this out and it will give you an idea of how efficient you rig is. Have you given up a CPU core for each of the GPU's you're folding with?

I'm at the 750 - 800W mark if I fold with all three of my R9 290Xs.
It really depends on the WU, but it seems I could ideally produce up to 500k PPD...

It obviously depends on what provider you've got, but as a very very loose rule of thumb - if you pull 150W from the wall it'll cost you roughly £150 a year to run.

24/7 running? Hmm, it's something I've thought about doing but seeing as I don't pay the electric bill it's not fair for me to do it. :(

I actually have it using 4 of the 8 threads. Sine the computer does a lot of other things such as Plesk all the time. And then the gpu's use roughly 2 threads which leaves 2 free.
