flow meters

Try this one

Hi Phil,

You can get a flow meter from http://www.aqua-computer.de/ . You can interchange the type of connector that goes on the end of it. The biggest they supply is 10mm bard, if that’s to small you can also get 12to10mm converter. Ounce its got a flow going through it, you can connect it to an Aquaero fan controller. This will give you a digital read out, its not cheap at €150 for LCD or €190 for the VHD unit. But this thing has loads of other features. If your still interested and need more info! Just give me a shout, I have been running one for over a year now. It keeps the PC running real quite.

dont try that one..

its a flow killer.

Ive got one from RS which doesn't totally kill flow & works with the fanomatic controller.

I'll put some details up when i get my new rig up & running (Fx57 arrived btw Phil ;) )

Your not kidding, mine does a full 180 degrese U-turn.

But I’m still getting 0.9 Liters/Minute using 8mm tubing. Pump is a Eheim 12v 1046, and I have, about 10 right angle connectors thrown in their as well. I’m using it to cool N/B and GPU. One 120mm Black Ice Pro Rad, and it sits between 30 and 33 degrees (full load) with the fan only running at 35% at.

yeah but you have bugger all heatload on it,

0.9l/min is ok for a small bore system with minimal heatload,

on a fully loaded 1/2 inch system it would be awful.

I tried an innovatek flow meter on one of mine before & temps went through the roof due the the flowmeter choking the flow.

185-9982 is the part number of the one I got from rswww.com

I wouldn't bother on yours mate, your temps are good so no worries..

its just that it would choke a high flow 1/2 inch sys
