Fixing standoff holes

When installing my motherboard I borked my stand off holes as a result of this silly action you can't install motherboards properly to my CM Storm Stryker. The screw holes were damaged by putting in screws the wrong way. Can I somehow replace the motherboard tray? It appears to get tight really fast then a bit less tight. It required pliers to take out standoffs. Can I fill this hole then remake the hole?

How would you fill the hole then remake it?

Would it be possible to find standoffs with a slightly larger thread, and drilling each hold to the appropriate size?

I have a Gigabyte GA-970A-DS3 is this possible? If I did that would it mess with the anti-static.

How badly did you Bork the hole up? Can you take the standoff out and carefully put it back in straight? Also try a nutdriver instead of pliers.
In the future if you can't start it with your fingers don't force it .

Standard standoff holes are 6-32 thread, so try drill it the next size up and get the appropriate standoffs?

I'm not sure why you think it would mess with the anti static, it would be fine, all you're doing is using a different size hole to screw into aren't you?
