I mistakenly posted this in the GPU Overclocking board first, sorry for the double post.
My setup is:
CPU: i5 4670k, MOBO: MSI GD-65 Gaming, Cooler: H100i, RAM: GSkill Ripjaws X 1866.
I have watched TTL's OCing video on YouTube and I think I can get through it but my BIOS is setup differently than the one he used. If anyone who has used this MOBO can give me a primer or some pointers it would help me a lot. As much detail as possible would be great.
Also my RAM is running at the default 1600, I don't want to overclock it just set it to the rated 1866. Do I need to do anything other than just set it to 1866 in the BIOS? I was going to manually enter my memory timings but there are more than four options in the memory part of the BIOS, is it just the first 4 or what settings am I looking for?
Anytime I have a question about my PC I always come here. Everyone here is very good at helping me and giving me advice, thank you.
