First Time Building

well i want to build my own PC really really badly and i was wondering if buying one component at a time ok, especially since i dont have any money to buy everything at one time??

I would say it would be best to take the money you were going to spend on each component, and just stash it away. Piece by piece, instead of purchasing something. The reason for this is by the time you have each component bought, if you do it piece by piece, the prices will probably have dropped by the time you get your last part ordered and your system up and running. Saving up your money untill you have enough, and then purchasing your parts all at once will make sure that you're probably getting the parts for as cheap as they have been so far. Also by the time you get all your parts bought, technology will probably have changed and you might want something else entirely. So I would just save and get it all at once

i agree .... also you dont have to look at your new bits while you save up enough cash to be able to use them

any1 know websites that are cheaper than newegg in the US? i just need to get a core2quad for my current rig and i'll be able to save up for this custom rig:/

Try Tigerdirect.com, or microcenter. Even check amazon once in awhile because sometimes they actually will have things cheaper.
