First time building a ITX System

Current build mate

Current Build
Motherboard: ASRock B75-PRO3-M
CPU Intel: i3-2130
Memory: Kingston DDR3 1333Mhz
SSD: OCZ Solid 3 120GB (Don't like this SSD, going to be changing it to a Intel one)
PSU: SilverStone ST60F-PS 600W (I'm guessing the PSU is way overkill, It was laying around doing nothing)
Case: Fractal Design ARC Mini R2

If you re-use the RAM, PSU and the SSd you mentioned you could use you could get -

I3 4160

AsRock H81M

Cooler master Elite 110 (or another case)

Using PC part picker it came our at $287 but I am not in your area so just have a look around at the stores you know.

If that price is correct you could get some new RAM within your budget or a low end GPU if you need one but I doubt it. If you don't need a GPU then an aftermarket cooler if the stock one is too noisy for you.

Case: idea the place where i might be buying it from they have the Parvum Systems S2.0 Micro ATX Case for A$149.00 (save $50) i know it's not cheap but it's kinda the case i'm looking for cause i would like to get a case with a split design or Corsair Air240 but i'm not really sure.

CPU: i could get that or Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition G3258 cause the Intel Core i3 4160 A$159.00 or the Intel Pentium Anniversary Edition G3258 is A$95.00 but from what i have learn is you don't go cheap on the CPU but i could be wrong.

Motherboard I'm kinda confused cause there seems to be 2 different sizes for M-ATX motherboards. What would be the max price you would pay for a M-ATX

You could get the G3258 but I would get a non stock cooler and overclock it personally or I do not see the worth in buying it.

You need to be looking at Mini ITX.

Above that is Mini ATX and smaller than mini ITX is nano I think but that is not used for PCs

You might be getting confused between mini and micro ATX

Yeah i would be putting a aftermarket cooler on it for sure, what i mean with the M-ATX motherboard there seems to be different form factors like 1 could be 24.4cm x 22.5cm and then another one could be 24.4cm x 17.4cm but there both still M-ATX

Not too sure, I would imagine there is a certain maximum for each particular form factor. For example my motherboard is classed as Full ATX but it misses one row stand offs because it is thinner than other full ATX boards.

Yeah it's kinda confusing tho, But it only seems to be in the cheaper M-ATX but once you go over a price point there the larger M-ATX size.
