Got the outline done today, shading is booked for 10th of next month. Maybe it's because I work in construction and i'm used to inflicting pain upon myself (you've not felt pain until you've hit your fingers full whack with a hammer) but it wasn't near as bad as people kept saying it would be. :D

Why oh why wot about when you get sick of that same picture in say 30 years time LOL

Depends. If you're one of these people who has a skinfull and rolls into the tattooist and picks one of the flash, then yeah you'll get sick of it in a hurry.

If you have a self-penned creation, or if you have a picture/thing that isn't in the normal tattoo flash books and you spend a loooooong time making certain you want it, then you wont get fed up.

I've got three, all of them are unique, all of them I took a long time before getting inked, and I'm not sick of any of them.

Snakes round swords, roses, cherubs, lil' devils, bulldogs etc though. Yeesh. :)

Exactly. I've had this image on my computers (upgrade often like everyone here) for nearly 3 years after randomly stumbling upon it on the internet. I'll absolutely say to anyone dont have something unless your absolutely sure your happy to live it.

you can get addicted to having tattoos done,i started with a small one on my shoulder blade now i have 12 and still want more, the last one was on the back and sides of my head which does look good but its not to everyones taste judging by the looks i get

Women with lower-back tattoos usually have a meaning, just not quite the one they intend :P

/Jim goes weak at the knees.

Does it for me every time :p

"Insert here" usually.

Don't generally like tattoos, something I'd rather see on other people. Artwork has to be good tho.

Never understood the chinesey thing.

Got back from the studio a couple of hours ago, took longer than either of us thought and it still needs a 3rd session to finish the skull. :P

Hurt more than the outline did, there were definately a couple of wincing moments, but for the most part it was ok.

Looking good mate. I had a tattoo on Saturday of my favourite bands logo. I wouldn't want to hijack the thread, so I best not post a pic :D.

After much delay (work and the traffic gods conspiring against me) it's finally finished!

Looks sweet dude. Love the shading.

Here's mine that I had done not so long ago:

Not as intrecate (SIC) as yours.. but I like Celtic knots (and it's Breaking Benjamins Band Logo).

I really wanted a Tattoo done too... Except its not allowed in my religion and all... I wanted this on my back near my shoulder blade...

You're Muslim? If I'm not mistaken you guys aren't allowed to dye your hair, pierce and stuff too right?

In the name of God, most Gracious, most Compassionate!

Aye i'm Muslim, British born though but still a practicing muslim...

Dye your hair is forbidden in some Islamic Schools of Thought but not in mine, although i dont do it. Piercing for guys is forbidden and so is Tattoo... Although a lot of guys do have them... And i'm amazed you knew what "bismi-llāhi ar-raḥmāni ar-raḥīmi" meant :)... You muslim by any chance? (P.S. Not all muslims are fully bearded, bomb-strapping, shouting lunatics that the media like to portray us as...):p
