First Overclock! Done it right?

Hello there, I just recently got my D14 and did my first overclocking to 4GHz.. IMO temps seem a bit high for a D14, it has good airflow in a RV02 case..

Prime95 ran for 12 hours, no errors.

Prime for 30min, temps:

Idle temps are: 40 - 34 - 40 - 34

Ambient temp: 22-24C (Max/Min) through all testing/OC'ing

Amount of thermal paste, used the Noctua stuff that came with it.. Too much?

BIOS Settings (Gigabyte UD3R X58)

Multiplier: 23x

Base Clock: 174

CPU vCore: 1.28750

QPI Link Speed: 6.266GHz

Uncore: 3480MHz

System Memory Multiplier: 8.0

Memory Frequency: 1392MHz

DRAM Volt: 1.5v

Load Line Calibration: Standard

QPI/Vtt Volt: 1.175

CPU PLL: 1.800

I read that I coult pretty much leave anything other than BCLK, Multi, vCore and RAM Multi at auto.. So everything other than those settings are on Auto in bios.

Im wondering if it is my CPU or mobo limiting me or the RAM, cause I have problems at some settings, it just restarts right after clicking F10 and accepting.

It does this if I try pretty much any multi and base clock for 4.2GHz.

I try to take the volt one click up or down from on the setting im at now (4.0GHz).

It wont boot with any setting I have tried at CPU volt of 1.3 or higher.

The volt im at now in the bios is the only one working properly for 4GHz+ clocks, and its not close to the volt needed for 4.2GHz.

Im happy with the overclock, pretty low volts imo for 4GHz, but my temps seem a bit high for a D14 I think
