eh? Bird Flu's getting to be some scary shit. They reckon if it got to Britian and mutated into humans then 25% of the population would die and the other 25% of the population would be very ill...with over a 1/3 not even knowing that they had it

Where did you hear that kemp? On the radio the other day i heard pretty much the opposite

Im yet to meet a bug my living-in-filth imune systems has failed to destroy
lmao, that's honesty. So that's your tip Ham? Living in filth is the key to the bird flu epidemic and other horrible nasties, by way of strengthening the immune system?;) :D

Well hopefully it just stops right before the UK... Let the rest of the world deal with it, hehe.

Last i heard the worst case numbers in the case of it mutating and becoming a pandemic were something like 10x those who currently die from normal flu ever year. So pretty bad, but not bodies piling up in the street bad which seems to be the impression a lot of people have. Where did you get that 25% figure from?

Let's hope it doesn't happen in any case..

Flu was the biggest killer ever when the pandemic killed more than those killed in the first world war. Vaccinations and healthier lifestle coupled with more advanced recognition have since reduced the threat massively, but should the need arise hopefully there will be enough injections to go round.
