Firefox massive memory leak

Surprizes me Firefox uses so much. Perhaps it is down to the addon things more than the app itself.

IE hogs loads of memory. This one is sniffing 150m without doing much and I have to close it down now and again.

Safari tbh.

Think long gone are the days where browsing the net was a simple task, as it should be. They believe the browser to be inferior if it doesn't do all the things advertizing clients demand u want to see.

5 - 10 seconds is a bit long for a browser =/

iv gone back to it only because im a sucker for open source stuff

only using adblock here but i think thats a culprit for slowing it down

mine only takes 1-1.5sec to load on vista x64 and I use adblock plus, download statusbar, greasemonkey, echofon ,webdeveloper ,kaspersky url advisor

:D

5-10 seconds is slow on general terms but for me it is fine since I would normally be putting a song on in Windows Media Player.
