Firefox 3.5 issues

Allo All

I've had FF 3.5.X for a while now and am getting rather miffed with some of the differences from 3.

Annoyances for me are:

* Cannot do anything in that tab whilst it is loading. For example, click "new post" or click on a URL in that tab

* Cannot select a new tab until it has finished loading

* Lagging whilst waiting for a tab to load when scrol.

* Not being able to type properly if a page refreshes itself (like OC3D is doing right now)

I'm sure there's a couple more I can't think of right now.

Is anyone else getting this?

I've tried re-installing/clearing cache, history etc.

Am thinking of going back to FF 3 or using Chrome instead.

Yep, point 1 especially annoys me because I often misclick and quickly click the right link to correct. Which doesn't work anymore

I love the smooth scrolling addon a bit too much to switch though, but Chrome and Safari certainly start to sound like options now.

I don't have any of those issues.

Are you sure it isn't a plug-in thing?

Run it in safe mode and see what happens.

i only have 1 issue which is when i type in a url and press enter it does nothing i have to press the green arrow to go to that page.

i have 1 massive issue. Some times it freezes up my pc totaly and i have to re start. totally random ...

I dont seem to have any of these problems on windows 7 with 3.5.1 release.

Guess it is totally random.

no problems here but then i've installed FF3.5.1 to a RAM DRIVE.

I think I've found the issue. It may well be Alexa Sparky for me. Bit of a pita if it is as it's a bloody useful add-on
