hello, I'm having an issue with my new motherboard (ASUS M5A97 EVO R2).
there are several things that are bothering me:
1. motherboard refuses to read RPM's of Corsair SP 120 fans but it reads RPM from the CM hyper 212 evo stock fan. I tested fans on other motherboard and they were working motherboard was showing RPMs.

2. my PC refuses to start up from the hybernate. I have to reboot the system by unplugging power and starting it again - after what I get "resuming windows" messege.

so the question is - is it a faulty motherboard?

my specs:
Mobo -ASUS M5A97 EVO R2
CPU - AMD Phenom II x4 965
RAM - Crucial Ballistix 8GB (single stick)
PSU - Lepa G-series 750w
HDD - Samsung Spinpoint F3
Graphics - Radeon 7870 club 3D Joker card

yes I updated the bios to the latest version - because that was my first guess. and I updated the all drivers.
the fan is on the CM 212 evo .. ir gets no read neither from system fan pins nor cpu pins. and I have to put ignore on the fan monitor in the bios to boot the system. else I get "cpu fan error"

tried that .. still no corsair fan readings and not waking up from hybernate..
might it be the PSU fault? - the problem with hybernate
