Far Cry 5 PC Performance Review

Don't know if my poor eye sight is a blessing or a curse but once I get to high I can't tell the difference in high and ultra

It really is difficult to tell, grass draw distance is one of the few things that I can see as well as some changes to in-game reflections. Not a huge deal of difference.

Honestly unless you really look for differences it's hard to spot them, as WYP has said and the extended shadows there is very little difference when actually playing the game.

or RX Vega 56's in SLI

I'd love to see you try :D might wanna fix that.

Another fantastic performance article though Mark, thank you. I think the Titan should do fine at 4k :)

It's running on the 1080 Ti, 1050 Ti just provides output to my other monitor/TV.

Not really sure what could be wrong, I don't see your CPU or GPU being a problem, even if X299 isn't optimal for gaming.

What kind of framerates are you getting? Any specific areas which are causing problems?

Runs great for me, on my 980Ti at Ultra preset even with the 980Ti being a little flaky now and then, but runs at over 60fps all the time and buttery smooth.

No Fury X any more dude?

I'm not terribly worried, given this game is AMD and uses GCN cores apparently !

Ugh, why did I forget that adapter? :(

Framerate is very varied, from 55 to 140!

Not sure what could be causing the issue? G-Sync? The fact that I use multiple monitors? No idea.

EDIT: This is at 1440p.

Titan V @2077/1066
6950X @4.4
2160p totally maxed

Volta is brutal on this, it is nearly twice as fast as a Pascal Titan.:)

Just this game, Wraith has suggested it may be to do with Nvidia control panel trying to use the 1050 Ti for physics.

Is your CPU running overclocked? I know some games don't like X299 because of Intel's new cache structure, what is CPU utilisation like?
