hey all,

i wanted to know if it was possible to hook up 1 temperature sensor and use that reading for all 6 fans, each fan from 1-6 has its own temperature "slot" so at the moment i have 1 probe connected to fan1 and it shows the reading but all the others are 0 i want all the fans to ramp up at the same time and the sensor is inline in my wc setup and i can only put 1 sensor.

any deas how to make all the reading from 1 sensor?

thanks

i hope i made myself clear

heres an example below of another person who wants to do what i want

Question: If I solder 2 pin wires together, will the temp sensor work on all connectors?

Like so:

I will be using electric tape to make it nice and clean and isolate the bare wires.

Reason I'm asking is I have one phobya inline temp sensor on the out of my wc loop (ie hottest water). I also have a Lamptron Touch fan controller that can have temp sensors plugged in. I'd like all fans to be controlled by the water temp. Thing is each fan channel is controlled by it's sensor input. I don't see myself installing 6 inline phobya temp sensors right over my vid car.

So will it work?

I not 100% sure how temp probes work, but I'm thinking it won't work. Cause if the probe is sending a signal down the line threw the probe and back. You would have dual signals going down the line, plus the signal could back track into the other controller.

Don't think it will work, I got the same controller, thermal probes go in each slot, and I think it's fully independent control. I ramp up the fans manually, only takes a few secs but ah well.

Why not just install all of the sensors, tie them up together someplace.

The reason why is I want the 1 probe to display on fan 1 and fan 2.

Fan1= set at 50% is 2 gt-ap15

Fan2= set at 40% is 2 gt-ap15

Now reason why I want same temp probe is that when lets say my water temp from the inline sensor goes over 50/60c automatically all fans will ramp up to reduce temp

That's what I want you see!
