Fallout 76's PC version will lack FOV options and Ultra-Wide resolutions at launch

Funny as the code is still there in the .ini files..
iMainMenuStoreState = 1
fDefaultWorldFOV = 70
fDefault1stPersonFOV = 80
fSafeZoneX = 15.0
fSafeZoneY = 15.0
fSafeZoneXWide = 64.0
fSafeZoneXWide16x10 = 64.0
fSafeZoneYWide16x10 = 36.0

From what YouTube tells me, the PC version is in the worst shape of the bunch, and Bugthesda has already confirmed bugs that won't be fixed in the retail release. Typical. Rule #1 of gamer life: NEVERY buy a day 1 release from Bethesda. If you are silly enough to buy, don't play for at least 4-6 months. That way *most* of the major bugs *might* get worked out in that time, *if* you're lucky.

I kinda feel sorry that you preordered this. :S

I don't. I paid for the plastic tat, the merch dude. I'm hooked.

That said some one recently brought this up and I reminded him that he paid £2000 for some sort of Star Wars lego he had.

Every one has a weakness, a guilty pleasure. Mine is Fallout collectables, so tbh the game will be tossed to one side until it works on private servers :D

Seriously I have a mental Fallout collection. That stand I framed the other day was the original launch stand for FONV in Gamestop stores in the USA. And that is just one of several very cool things I have (like the official FO3 dev Tshirt) etc.

I love it man. And I hate myself for it, because I used to take the pee out of my pal for buying Halo crap.

AlienALX: so did you buy the $200 version with the helmet?

Yup. Best bit that. I'll get loads of pics obs, before packing it all back as carefully as I can and then shoving it in my wardrobe with the rest lmfao.

One day when I get my own place I will buy display cabinets, and actually have it all on show. Just no point here, as I could be gone any day. I need the cabinets made specifically for the space I either have, or don't have (wall mounting FTW).

I might drag it all out though (and all the rare s**t I got) and take some pics for you guys though.

Nice! I'm not buying this crap, but as a Fallout fan, I can relate. :)

I did it somewhat in the right order.. It all started when I downloaded FO3 illegally, then fell in love. Then I bought the 360 lunch box ed because the PC one was 3x more, swapped out the game and sleeve. Then bought the BOS edition with the statue (very rare) for PS3 and gave the game to my pal, then FONV box set and so on.

Seriously, I've got a ton of it. Even that little nuke that you press a button on and it goes "Weeeeeeee *CRASH*". It's awesome :D

I've stuck to this rule for the most part. :D So many great games in my backlog that buying new games feels wasteful.
