Aren't the majority of fans complaining about the graphics?
I'm sure I've seen comments like "that dog looks like it belongs on the PS1" lols.

I think it looks pretty decent anyways.

It does look awesome, truely cannot wait for this game yo drop. All the people moaning about the graphics an stuff need to zip it, we havent even seen any proper gameplay yet, i suppose spoilt kids will moan about anything these days though

See attachement. The graphics are already out of date. When we are paying more than ever for games, which are easier to make more than ever, we should be getting more, not less, and that applies to the graphics as well.

They always want more..
Also, I actually lol'd at that statement.

If there's one thing the gaming industry of late has told us it's NEVER trust graphics you see initially. If anything this may be a good sign that they're actually showing the real graphics and not something that's been photoshopped to the max

Well look at Watch_Dogs E3 and the final product. One showcased in E3 was so much better. Tbh I like nice shiny graphics but as long as the game is really fun to play then I'm happy. There's always sweetFX or ENB's if it comes to it.

As has been the trend the last few years no matter how this looks now the finished article will probably be different, Witcher, Watchdogs, the list goes on of vertical slice bullshots and buffed and post processed vids we are shown.

It's probably best to just wait and see how the finished game looks.

Having worked with game engines, yeah, they really are easier to make than 10 years ago...

Ok :) Are you're referring to engines like UE4/Unity?

Though I don't remember games 10 years ago having the same requirements that AAA titles have today.
However, I do agree that it would be easier to make a 2005 title now with the tech that is available.

True that non of the FO series are real lookers, it's always been about the immersion and atmosphere, the one thing I can deduce from the graphics here is that it's going to be huge! Although these next gen games should be huge and pretty.. just look at Skellige Isle on Witcher 3 It's freaking massive and so damn gorgeous!

i think the fact that you have to go back to a game from 2008 to "compare" the looks tells us all we really need to know about how it....looks..... lol

maybe post some screenshot comparison to Skyrim (2011) at least. it's using the same engine (modified)...

looks to me like if you adjust the color palettes to match (F4 is much more colorful) the texture quality and animation would be better.... but not by much...

its supposedly a completely new engine, not sure what people are moaning about......would you rather have another watchdogs pulled on you?

i for one think that its looking great so far (from the tiny snippet that we have seen), we don't know how vast the game is or how it plays or anything...........so why not just wait an see

The point is it should be perfect, the last was 2008, they have had 7 years to do something phenominal.. I mean just look at the Stalker series, it was way ahead of it's time but easily the best post apocalyptic game to date. Fallout for me always felt clunky and just a tad to cartoony, it needed many mods to be anywhere near acceptable. I am keen to see what Bethesda has done this time.

also, keep in mind this game was simultaneously developed for Xbone/PS4. when you have a couple of potatoes holding you back you are going to have to cut a lot of corners to get that magical 900p/30fps on them... remember what Witcher 3 looked like before they realized that incarnation of the game would run at 480p and 10fps on console?

i would love to see just one AAA title come out as a PC exclusive and require hardware that won't be out for a couple of years to run at maximum settings (eg. Crysis 1)...

maybe Star Citizen...

The dog looks a bit crap. The one in COD : Ghosts looked much better. TBH? I would say this actually looks like COD : Ghosts so the engine is probably around the same age.

Bethesda have never been any good with character animation and they still look a bit stiff.

My biggest issue with the graphics is that the textures look really poor :/

Non the less, I'll probably pick up the game and binge on it when it drops
