Question for the audiophiles in here, I currently have an Focusrite scarlett solo 4th gen and was wondering if anyone has any tips on an smaller unit? I have mine mounted under my desk, but curious if there's anything smaller out there essentially. I basically only use it as an raw audio output. No inspruments or so, just the front headphone port and back microphone XLR port essentially. Hence 75% of the body is unused

The scarlett solo 4th gen is already pretty small so not sure why you'd want to get rid of it but if for some reason you need smaller then the Shure MVI Motiv Digital Audio Interface should meet your criteria.

So you are only using it as a DAC for headphones? Well, and obviously a headphone amp?

Or are you using the mic port?

Personally I would get a USB mic. I would then look into the Chord Mojo II. It's portable too.
