excessive temps

ive just taken my watercooling loop back out due to a leaky radiator and put my air cooling back in. My cpu is fine but now my GPU is hitting 114 in game  funny thing is, the back of the card is nowhere near that temp, usually its too hot to touch when the cards pushing 60. its not poor thermalpaste as ive used the same on the cpu and with the watercooling. Other than re-applying the paste and tightening some screws can anyone suggest a solution?

Heh I got a slow leak on my POS pump but a sock under it solves that (for now) :p.

Anyway, are you playing a different game than you were before? There is no other logical explanation besides the game not being as stressful as the other game.

turns out that two of the four sprung-screws that pull the center of the HS to the backplate are different to the other two   so either i picked up two from another set of screws and tidied the right two away or its just one of those weird mistakes at the factory (it might even be deliberate). it meant that only about 1/4 of the gpu was in contact with the HS, soooo i changed the screws for identical ones and tightened them right up ;) temps look good so far
