EVGA teases ACX 2.0 cooler

EVGA has uploaded a short video on their YouTube channel teasing their new ACX 2.0 cooler. What's interesting about this one is that the ACX 2.0 looks very similar to the original ACX cooler, yet it claims to be "The World's Most Efficient Air Cooler."

The video concentrates on the fans used which may suggest that the ACX 2.0 will use an unconventional/more efficient fan setup. The short teaser shows that the fan blades are reversed meaning that the air will be exhausted through the top.The cooler will take up 2 slots and the fans are rumored to be 100mm compared to 90mm on the ACX 1.0.

With the GTX 900 series GPU's just around the corner, It looks like the PC hardware industry is quickly heading towards more efficient products.

apart from changing the fans, have the mentioned any other differences? if they followed the lead of asus and made passive fans then they'd be on the money.
if its simply flipping the fans and 10mm larger fans, then i cant say its particularly impressive.

I'll admit I had noise issues with my 780 classified and haven't been blown away (pun intended) by the ACX cooler. It looks pretty and EVGA's service is great but It doesn't feel very robust like some of the other manufacturers fans

Is this the one they put on the 970 cards? Turns out if could be faulty as the heatpipes only cover 2/3 of the GPU. EVGA have tried to state that it was intentional but me thinks it is a clear design flaw. Not to mention they tried to address the noise issue as an aggressive fan curve in the default bios.

Im pretty sure its going to be a redesigned or at least revised version, as I doubt they dont realize its faulty now that many people are reporting it.
