EVGA GTX 580 vs EVGA GTX 580 SC

Hey guys,

something that is bothering me is to decide to buy either the EVGA GTX 580 or EVGA GTX 580 SC.

There is a difference of £30 to £60 difference in price.

Is it worth paying the extra or is best to ge the standard version and overclock them?

IMO better buy standard one and OC it.

It's not worth it, just keep the card cool and at an increased voltage and you won't have much of an issue.

I really don't understand these OC cards nor the people that are buying them

maybe there are a lot of people that are scared of overclocking and think this is the way to go , no idea TBH

Seems to be selling tho as (Alternate) has a lot of these (everytime a new GPU comes out) different pre overclocked cards...

I know a ten year warranty sounds good but seriously can you see yourself having it for ten years?

Zotac give five by which point you'll probably upgrade any way.
