Atm i im runin evga gtx 260 ssc and card can run very hot seen it hitting 85C, so need something cooler and quieter ^.^.

Any one known how long is Phantom ?,and how much difference is between them 2 in performance? , my case is quite small but I got like 28-30cm room for a card, sry for mess with cables no place to rout them right :S

Do you want to overclock it?

Have you tried cleaning your current one? Most 570's will hit the 80's but they are designed to be quiet now .

Well i have a GTX 570 SC and i can tell yuo its the best card i have ever owned, and the stock clocks are better than the phantom, however the pahntom has better cooling and is quieter, aslo with your motherboard layout you will have no problem going SLI becasue you have a extra slot gap between the two PCIe connectors, becasue as you proably know the phantom is a little bigger than two slots.

If it were my money I would say GTX 570 SC becasue of EVGA's unbeatable warrenty and there step up programe.

EDIT: you could always just save a little extra money and splash out on a GTX 580, get a palit one now for around £350.

Yes I clean fan quite regularly, but im not so comfortable to take heat sink off and do like proper clean up, I tough to oc phantom to 800 MHz on core if i decide to get it, but if i chose evga i wont bother oc it any more than it already is.

. Probably ill oc cpu even more but 1st ill have to change cooling onto something better.

@Adam I think 580 is a little bit overkill for my spec

Just a though, just don't regret your choice, like i do a little considering i paid £340 for my SC when it came out, now i could get a 580. but hey.
