Your basically saying all parents are morons who don't read product descriptions!
You advertise a card as pcb only no cooler and you show an image of just the pcb no cooler I'm sure even the thickest of people could work that one out.
Small subset???????????????
Right ok so watercooling UK, EK, Aquatubing, XSPC, Bitspower, Alphacool and the huge number of WATER COOLING companies are all supported and make a profit from a small subset??
There are some things I've noticed working 20+ years in customer service, regulatory infringements and prosecutions:
1. People are stupid.
2. Parents will buy anything little so-and-so wants regardless.
3. See point 1.
I'd suggest the percentage of water cooled GPU's would be a small one. Still enough for the aforesaid companies to make profits but overall it's minor outside of the enthusiasts that typically come to these forums. The numbers would definitely be over represented here. It would actually be pretty interesting to see the number of GPU blocks sold versus the same model of GPU in total. You've got to remember that millions of GPU's are shipped each year.
The other thing is that removal of the cooler is not the hardest part of water cooling and yes, it would be one less thing to have hanging around, but it would actually prevent you from selling your GPU second hand to anyone that isn't going to water cool it.
Which when you think about it would be even fewer as who's really going to buy and block a last generation card unless it's to replace a failed one?
Back on to the EVGA - I quite like it. I preferred the stealthy black/gold of the previous versions but the white and black look pretty sweet.
