EVGA GeForce GTX 980 Ti Kingpin Edition Launched

If this is designed for LN2 then why does it come with the fancy Kingpin cooler? Surely a standard EVGA cooler or even no cooler would have been fine? I suspect that by claiming that the card is meant for LN2, EVGA hopes to get fanboys to buy their card because LN2 sounds cool. I doubt they actually intend for this card to be primarily or exclusively used for extreme overclocking.

Because you can use the cooler for every day use and LN2 pots for benching?

This seems shady as f***, Ive been more than happy with my 780 ti Classy and other EVGA products I've owned but this seems only to be some kind or hoax to take peoples hard earned money. From what I understand you pay for a supposedly better performing card but with no real guarantee and with a price increase of 50 dollars (and even more in euros) for a supposedly increase of 2% chance how low can you go as a company

LOL To buy one of these you have to accept EVGA's RMA policy for this special program but the link to what that RMA policy is about doesn't work. Well played EVGA.....
