AMD's Ryzen 7000 series processors will all launch of AMD's new AM5 platform, which uses an LGA1718 socket and acts as the company's new baseline for high-end desktop products. While AMD plans to support AM4 for years to come, AMD will be the home of AMD's new high-end product offerings, starting with Ryzen 7000 series products.
