Well Asian usually refers to the far east and south east Asia, typically they're ethically quite different to people of the Indian subcontinent in appearance. I think geologically Europe ends at the Ural mountains in Russia. The vast majority of Russians live west of the Urals, so they're not really Asians.

Yes, quite right, although I will add that the term Asian applys to anyone from the Asian continent, which contains India, as well as part of Turkey and as you quite rightly said, Russia that is east of the Urals.

lol its just a thing i was thinking becasue in all american movies etc... when they say asian it means someone from the far east, where as over here in UK it would more mean a person from the indian subcontinent-ish area.
