EVENT ID 100

This is getting retarded! Event ID 100 just randomly happens? From what i have seen it has to do with Windows not booting properly? My HDD is defragmented every Wednesday at 2am. All this does is BSoD my computer and it is getting REALLY OLD. I have contacted windows support and they have not the faintest idea what it is, its like it never existed. Is there any fix for this OTHER than re-installing windows 7 and HOPING it will work then?

if it is REALLY old, why are you running win7 on it?

i would revert to XP or latter!!
