Wow I haven't heard that game name in a long time! I played for a few months when it first came out, really cool game but I kind of lost interest. How much are they charging for it now? I might check it out.

loads has changed since 2003. Dunno where to start! the learning curve is still pretty crazy but they have sorted a lot of stuff for new players, really good tutorials, no more learning skills etc. Works about a 9 euros a month.

Dabbled into Eve a bit, did the trial like twice then I bought it, but since I was a complete noob I sort of lost interest.

yeah like i said the learning curve is still pretty hard, 100% better than it used to be though!

I play, usually re sub after every new expansion

names jackboyII, or JackyBoy II, in it (I had already made JackyBoy then messed him up! Haha )

You can't train while being unsubbed anymore! Got rid of that ability a while ago

I love Eve, but it gets monotonous for me after a while now (played a few years now). I have a decent level Minmatar actually but.. I just can't stand the redundancy anymore. I LOVE being Minnie, I mean, we're the "rednecks" of the Universe. I"ve bombarded CCP with the request to give us "duct-tape" but they just don't even laugh at me... *sigh* Its VERY deep for a lot of things and if you like to join groups (or corporations in Eve) and really get into the game you can end up hooked like a fish. When you go into Low-sec and start setting up ganks at the gates or even joining up for larger wars with the larger corps (and those are run almost militarily using mic/hdphones and there's a hierarchy/chain of command to make sure all units are being used maximally) those are probbly just mind blowing. Myself, I've always preferred lone wolf but have played with a corp a while and found it a blast. One of the important things to know is that the economy is fluid,dynamic, and important to you at all times. Oh, and the other races besides Minmatar? are all limp wastes of oxygen.

Players can do anything they want basically... there's even a cemetary for dead pilots that was still up last time I checked... but was being raided by some "Islamic" fundamentalists who've joined Goonswarm. so... its wide open and really fun. Worth trying the trial. If you have problems and want help, lemme know I'll think about doing a month or so just to show you.
