Evaluate my old laptop for family member

I'm selling my old laptop to a family member - well to be precise, the price i sell for is knocked off the cost of my new one.

It was a Dell inspiron 1501.

Battery is naff now (10 mins life)

Turion X-2 1.8ghz (i think)

2gb of ram

ati xpress 1150 or summit

160gb hdd

1400x900 screen (with a scratch)

Got a HP model with those specs, a 15" 4:3 tho, bumped it to 4g and changed the harddrive. Still a massively good laptop tbh. Very impressed with the x2. The graphics do make it hot tho.

i dont see why the x1000 series get hot my packard bell easy note LJ65 with a ATI 4570 doesnt get hot or the intel t6400 even when i go mad and play games on it.

older tech i suppose and its all down to manuf design.

my mate's hp got appallingly hot and had like 1 vent

Exact same one I have actually. Nout wrong with it at all, great little lappy. £200 is a decent enough price imo
